V-Victor from B-Baker.

On 15th September 1949 203sqn took part in the Battle of Britain Flypast over London. Four
aircraft flew from RAF St Eval to RAF Manston, taking ground crew for a preflight inspection
etc. at Manston. One aircraft was a spare. We made the front page of the News Chronicle
next day with a super photo of the three white Lancasters flying over Tower Bridge, and a
RAF Sunderland docked on the Thames below.
